Fusers Reserves
Where we push the limits of our production processes to create unique limited-run products
Sssshhhhh....
Wispering Lotus
Our newest Fusers Reserve has arrived!
Built on a luminous Pale Purple transparent base, this quiet stunner carries a soft, ethereal palette inspired by nature. Think waterworn stone, drifting minerals, or light silently transitioning the look of a still surface. Woven throughout this delicate background, Blue Aventurine winks and shimmers adding subtle depth and contrast.

Fusers Reserves are exclusive, limited-edition sheet glass "bonus" releases, created to bring something new and exciting into the studio!
The line is best known for exhibiting our signature OpalArt™ stir pattern, where color is layered and swirled to create its distinctive movement. Quite often, we embellish the glass with aventurine to add a touch of sparkle. While this approach is used in many of our Fusers Reserve releases, each one explores something a little different.
First introduced by Spectrum in late 2015, Fusers Reserves represent some of the most advanced work made possible within the Continuous Ribbon System. Each sheet is produced in small quantities and valued for its variation, depth, and visual character. While formulated to be fusible, it can be used across many forms of glass art.
It’s always a crowd pleaser when we offer a Spirit™ Glass FR release. Using a specialized cannon, dense glass frit is introduced directly onto the hot, moving ribbon of glass, where it melts and stretches into streaks and bursts of color. The sheets have the look and energy of mouthblown glass but in a flat sheet for non-glass blowers to enjoy.
These effects are only possible within a continuous system where glass is always in motion. Timing, placement, and movement must be controlled in real time, making this process unlike traditional hand-rolled sheet production. Oceanside Glass™ has continued this work since 2020, releasing a select number of Fusers Reserves each year.
